Singapore Airlines is looking for a Finance Officer to support our finance team in the accurate processing of Account Receivable (AR) documents and General Ledger (GL). This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a dynamic team.

The Finance Officer will manage various tasks, including processing and updating AR requests such as refunds, invoices, credit notes, and tax notices, especially when requiring approval from the Finance Manager. They will audit documents from the Ticket Desk, update records on SharePoint, and prepare daily/weekly reports for LON and DUB. Responsibilities also include certifying invoices, responding to AR and Ticket Office queries, running credit checks for Cargo and Sales, and following up on chargebacks. Additionally, the role involves calculating and submitting monthly Air Passenger Duty (APD) reports, filing PayPal invoices, and ensuring proper documentation for bank reconciliations. The Finance Officer will assist in auditing IBM documents, handling PayPal refunds, updating ASW requests, performing vendor compliance checks, and supporting Accounts Payable when needed. The role requires managing incoming post, electronically filing documents, and assisting the Finance Manager with various tasks.

The ideal candidate should have strong attention to detail and accuracy, excellent time management, and organisational skills. They must maintain confidentiality, possess good written and verbal communication abilities, and have intermediate PC skills.

The role requires knowledge and experience in accounts payable and receivable, general accounting procedures, and familiarity with accounting software. Proficiency in data entry and management is also essential. Leadership skills are a plus for this position.
