Airport Capacity

BAR UK has been actively engaged on behalf of the airline community on capacity needs and Heathrow expansion. Our principle engagement is with the Airport operators, DfT, CAA and relevant Ministers. Our views on potential costs and concerns over pre-funding infrastructure development and the level of industry funding of surface access gained traction and shaped thinking on the Heathrow masterplan.

Future work will include engagement on the strategic capacity plan for the UK as the industry rebuilds.
