Slots Policy

The UK Government is proposing to include some radical reform of the slots allocation process as part of its new Aviation Strategy now that the UK can deviate from EU policy. Threats to airlines could include the potential for slot auctions to highest bidders or limitations on the time historical rights can be granted. BAR UK is working closely with IATA to ensure that the Worldwide Slot Guidelines (WSG) is fully considered as part of any proposals for slot reforms.
